Yutsitutuya's Family
Allow us to introduce you to Yutsitutuya, fondly known as Olga, the extraordinary talent behind the captivating designs and pieces you'll discover on our website.
Hailing from the enchanting Sierra Madre Occidental in the state of Nayarit, Olga's roots are deeply intertwined with the vibrant Wixárika community, where the majestic Jaguars roam free.
For Olga and her family, beading has been a lifelong journey, a sacred art infused with their very essence from early childhood. Although they currently reside in Mexico City, their hearts often lead them back to their hometowns.
Olga's family has been an integral part of our journey right from the start. Their unwavering dedication has been the cornerstone of our shared vision.
Olga considers herself incredibly fortunate to have the support of such a wonderful community through Mother Sierra, all united in the purpose of championing artisans.
In Mexico, pursuing a livelihood as an artisan can be an uphill battle, and the opportunity to showcase and sell their art globally is a daily blessing.
To all the beautiful souls who proudly wear Mother Sierra creations every day, Olga and her family extend their heartfelt gratitude. Your support is a beacon of hope and empowerment in the world of artisans. Thank you.
