HAKAIMA AND YUTSITUTUYA: A MAGICAL ENCOUNTER 💜
These two incredible souls, not only embodying the richness of their culture but also eloquently expressing themselves through their captivating art.
Hakaima, gracefully positioned on the left, hails from the Sierra of Jalisco, while Yutsitutuya, on the right, calls the Sierra of Nayarit home. Despite relocating to Mexico City a few years ago, they share a common language and adhere to similar rituals. However, their distinct accents add a unique touch to their connection. Both artisans skillfully craft their own clothing, infusing their creations with individual magic and beauty. Notice their enchanting Ayin Harah earrings 👁️, seemingly identical yet subtly different.
While their designs may mirror each other, the energy infused into each piece varies, courtesy of these gifted artisans. Thanks to the brilliance of these sihuas (artisans), Mother Sierra graces us with magical creations and love from our cherished home ❤️🌎.
