Virginia's Family

Let me introduce you to the amazing Virginia and her beautiful family!

Virginia and her oldest daughter Soledad have been working with Mother Sierra for over a year now and we are forever grateful to have them create so many of the unique pieces that we sell! 

You guys should really see how they work, it's fascinating, every piece is perfection, a statement, a history & and generations of talent passed down into each and every bead that hits the thread! 

I cannot explain enough how creative and talented they are. Heavenly hands! 

Virginia and her family come from Norte Puebla, from The Otomí indigenous community. They've been doing handcraft art since they were kids, making beaded art a part of their culture and a purpose. 

Virginia's work is mostly the necklaces that we have on display, but they also make many of the earrings as well. 

Virginia and her daughters (and baby grandson, Solidads son) all say MUCHAS GRACIAS for all the support and amazing customers who rock Mother Sierra worldwide, and they thank you so much for making it possible to still create during such difficult times. 🙌
