Rosaura

Rosaura is from a small town called Cienega de San Felipe situated in the Sierra de Nayarit.

Rosaura and her family moved to Mexico City when she was 17 years old in order to find work.

Rosaura began beading along side her mother and aunts at the age of eight. She once told me “beading is my life. My family taught me and gave me the opportunity to be independent by doing this art”.

She has been selling her creations in local markets and people she meets along the way. Her work is outstanding and we are so lucky to have met her.
