Darina's Family
Darina, a mother of two, lives in Puebla in a small community called San Pablito.
Darina has been beading from a very young age. She also enjoys creating other handmade traditional art that represents her proud Otomi culture including embroidery of endemic animals of Mexico, handmade amate lamps made from vegetable paper that was used in pre-Hispanic times and dabbles in Mexican fashion as well.
Yet Darina’s forte is her exquisite creations in beaded jewelry. She is always on the look out for her next inspiration.
