Both hailing from the Sierra de Jalisco, specifically from the community of Nueva Colonia in the municipality of Santa Catarina, their artistry was instilled at a young age by their parents, a skill intended to support their family nestled in the tranquil Sierra.

Currently, they straddle life between the Sierra and Mexico City.
