Mother Sierra

Since 2020, Mother Sierra has fostered relationships with over 10 Indigenous families hailing from the Wixárika & Otomí communities in Mexico, as well as the Maya community in Guatemala. These collaborations have cultivated a profound sense of familial bond, uniting us in a collective expression of artistry and affection. Originating primarily from the Sierra regions, many of these talented artists have relocated to urban centers in pursuit of sustainable livelihoods through their craft. We cherish the privilege and express profound gratitude for the opportunity to showcase the rich heritage of indigenous handmade art on a global scale. Our endeavor was founded upon the vision of empowering local artisans while bridging the gap between local markets and the expansive reach of the online global marketplace. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the universe for manifesting this vision into reality.
